UML Chair Oli has ethical obligation to vote for MCC: NC General Secretary Sharma



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress General Secretary Bishwaprakash Sharma has said that CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli should help in passing the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) on the basis of ethics.

NC General Secretary Sharma tweeted on Sunday that it was his moral duty to support the passage of the resolution registered during UML Chairman Oli’s tenure as prime minister.

He said that the UML Chair should support the proposal registered in the parliament on July 15, 2019 during his (Premiership).

“It is his (Oli’s) moral duty to help pass the resolution he has registered. Respected UML Chair Oli should not be hindered by other controversies in the moral test of history!”

Sharma also tweeted that the decision of the Oli Council of Ministers to approve the MCC was registered in the parliament on February 8, 2019.
