Meeting of ruling coalition underway in Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the ruling coalition is underway at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav and other top leaders of the coalition parties are attending the meeting.

According to Prime Minister Deuba’s Secretariat, the meeting of the ruling coalition is discussing political issues, including Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Leaders including Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel, General Secretary Gagan Thapa and former General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula are also participating in the meeting.

The House of Representatives is meeting at 1 pm today.
