Nepal Army confiscates illegal drugs and explosives



PARSA: An army team of the Siddhibaksh Battalion deployed for the security of Parsa National Park has confiscated recovered drugs from the area.

According to a statement issued by the Nepal Army, they recovered illegal drugs, ammunition and explosives from a group of persons of six to seven people who had entered the Lalbhitti, Sheetalpur Khola Chure area illegally.

The army has arrested them along with six bags of cannabis, 39 rounds of stuffed gun ammunition, 200 grams of ammunition, 16 bombs, 2 kg of sulfur, two flashlights, one charger and a bag.

The army has informed that the seized items have been handed over to the Park administration.
