8 injured in Baitadi bus accident



BAITADI: Eight persons were injured in a bus accident at Melauli in Baitadi district on Thursday morning.

The bus (Na 7 Kha 2570) heading to Melauli from Mahendranagar met with an accident at Rautgaun in Melauli Municipality-2 of Baitadi.

The injured have been taken to Dadeldhura for treatment, said Inspector Darshan Khadka, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Baitadi.

The bus met with an accident at around 6 in the morning.

The bus has fallen 5 meters from the road. Driver Birendra Luhar has been taken under control by the police.
