UML gets highest votes in six provinces under PR



KATHMANDU: Under the proportional representation for the Province Assembly, the CPN-UML has come first in six provinces.

As of now, it received 1,965,684 votes (securing highest votes in comparison in Province 1 (346,244 votes), in Bagmati Province (384,483), in Gandaki Province (311,389), in Lumbini Province (393,900), in Karnali Province (146,820) and in Sudurpaschim Province (210,056).

The NC has won majority votes comparatively in Madhes Province with 180,816 votes followed by the UML with 154,792 votes.

Similarly, the Janata Samajwadi Party is trailing them with 126,386 votes.

The Janamat Party has received 102,844 votes, and the CPN (Unified Socialist) 70,562.

In Province 1, the NC is following with 300,649 votes and the Maoist Centre with 101,372 votes.

In Bagmati Province, the NC is chasing the UML with 336,084 votes. Similarly, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has got 201,393 votes, the Maoist Centre 187,001, and the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party 61,566.

In Gandaki Province, the NC is following with 288,373 votes, the Maoist Centre with 112,221, and the RPP with 54,736.

In Lumbini Province, the NC is going after the UML with 362,032 votes. Likewise, the Maoist Centre got 139,474 votes and the RPP 97,701.

In Karnali Province, the NC is following with 130,066 votes, the Maoist Centre with 117,062 and the CPN (Unified Socialist) with 29,051.

In Sudurpaschim Province, the NC is behind the UML with 197,910 votes. Similarly, the Maoist Centre has got 92,795.
