Shahi wins PA seat from Mugu (2)



MUGU: Mangal Bahadur Shahi of CPN (Maoist Centre) has won the election to member of the Province Assembly from Mugu (2).

He defeated his closest rival CPN (UML)’s Karna Bahadur Malla.

Shahi obtained 8,429 votes while Malla got 4,884 votes.

Altogether 13,626 votes were cast in the district, according to the District Election Officer, Bishnu Prasad Neupane.
