NC’s Sita Gurung wins HoR seat from Terhathum

TERHATHUM: The Nepali Congress has won the election to the House of Representatives from Terhathum.

Sita Gurung of the Nepali Congress received 19,702 votes.

Gurung’s closest rival Bijay Subba of the CPN (UML) garnered 18,623 votes, according to the District Election Office. Terhathum has only one constituency.

Out of 71,933 voters in the district, 41,180 votes were cast.
