PR vote count: UML leading followed by NC and RSP



KATHMANDU: Counting of votes cast under the Proportional Representation (PR) system in the election to the member of the House of Representatives is underway.

The voting was held on November 20.

According to the count updates made available by the Election Commission, the CPN-UML is leading the tally and it has received 154,4835 votes so far.

The Nepali Congress (NC) is in the second position with 146,9366 votes followed by Rastriya Swatantra Party with 682,320 votes.

Similarly, the Maoist Centre has secured 650,943 votes while Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has obtained 318,591 so far.

Likewise, Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal has got 182,125 votes; 131,103 by Unified Socialist; 125,674 by Nagarik Unmukti Party; and 74,744 by Loktantrik Samajbadi Party, according to the EC.
