Political stability and economic development are my priorities, not premiership: Prachanda

CHITWAN: Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda,” said that he is not in the race of becoming the Prime Minister.

“Reports that Prachanda wants to become the country’s Prime Minister are not true,” he said at a program organized on the occasion of Ghatasthapana.

Prachanda said economic development and prosperity were his topmost priorities rather than contesting for the premiership.

“Had I expressed my desire for the same, I would have become the Prime Minister in 2074 BS,” he said while claiming that political stability, economic development, and prosperity were more important than becoming the Prime Minister.

He also expressed the hope that people would send able leadership to the government on November 20.
