Traffic police take action against 3,296 traffic rule violators in Valley

KATHMANDU: Traffic police have taken action against 3,296 motorists in one day for violating traffic rules in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, they were taken action for violating traffic rules.

The Office said it took action against 280drivers for parking in no-parking zones and footpaths, 81 drivers for violating lane rules, 144 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 69 people traffic lights, and 150 for honking in prohibited areas, among others.

Likewise, traffic police took action against 98 drivers for exceeding the speed limit, and others for violating the rules.
