KATHMANDU: Nine groups have been formed to hold discussions on the political report presented by CPN UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli in the ongoing Central Committee (CC) meeting of the party.

The groups would discuss multifarious issues, including politics, review of the local level elections, forthcoming election and the preparation for selection of candidates.

Chairman Oli will furnish responses to the queries and suggestions to be raised in his report, which would be passed by the meeting later.

During the address in the meeting, Chairman Oli accused the present government of not serving the people.

The efforts that picket the UML would be frustrated via the coming election, he warned.

The meeting on Friday also formed an election manifesto preparation taskforce and election mobilization committee under the coordination of Chairman Oli.

The CC meeting of the party will meet next at 10:30 am on Saturday.
