Nepal sees 324 new coronavirus cases, one death in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 324 new cases of coronavirus and one death in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

Of the confirmed cases, 163 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 161 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,515 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 1,673 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,842 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 3,943 active cases in the country as 418 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

One more coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and with this, the COVID-19 death toll in the country has reached 11,999 to date.
