Dumre-Besisahar road obstructed by landslide reopens



LAMJUNG: The Dumre-Besisahar road in Lamjung district that was disrupted by landslide on Monday night has been operated from today.

The debris of rain-triggered landslide at Ritthebagar in Besisahar Municipality-1 in Lamjung district were removed following which traffic movement resumed on the road that connects Lamjung with Tanahu district, according to Road Project Office, Lamjung.

Hundreds of passengers travelling to and from Besisahar were stranded due to landslide occurred at Deuralee Danda on Monday night.

Road Project Office, Lamjung’s Information Officer Purushottam Adhikari shared that the vehicular movement resumed on the road with the removal of debris.
