Landlsides obstruct Kaligandaki corridor

BAGLUNG: The vehicular movement along the Baglung section of Kaligandaki corridor, the national pride project, has been disrupted due to landslips since this morning.

The landslips were caused by torrential rainfall. A landslide occurred at Dablyang of Baglung Municipality-10 causing disruption on vehicular movement, according to DSP and Information Officer at District Police Office, Indra Bahadur Rana.

He added that other rural roads are also obstructed by the landslips. The connection with the southern belt of Baglung has cut off after the blockade at Kushmishera and Bareng.

Police added that coordination with Baglung Municipality and road division office was being established to clear the debris and resume transportation.
