POKHARA: Chairperson of the Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the current five-party ruling coalition will remain in place until the upcoming election to the federal parliament.

He said that the five-party alliance had to be formed to prevent regression, protect the constitution and federalism.

Leader Nepal emphasized that the division of seats among the parties in the election should be respectful.

Nepal’s views come at a time when other leaders of the ruling coalition have been reiterating the need for an electoral alliance in the upcoming parliamentary and provincial elections.
