KATHMANDU: Minister of Urban Development Ram Kumari Jhakri has resigned from the post.

She announced her resignation by holding a press conference at the ministry on Sunday.

Earlier, she called on Acting Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki at the Supreme Court.

Supreme Court Spokesperson Bimal Poudel informed that Jhakri urged Acting CJ for speedy resolution of the pending issues related to the projects and development during the meeting.

Acting CJ Karki expressed his commitment to help to the extent possible to forward related cases.
