Police nab two with pistols and ammunitions in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two persons with pistols and ammunition from the New Bus Park in Kathmandu.

According to the police, the Police team deployed from New Bus Park Police Division arrested Joel Thapa, 42, of Dhovichaur, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-17 and Raju BK, 30, of Bardaghat-14, Nawalparasi on Saturday.

Spokesperson of the District Police Complex, Kathmandu, SP Dinesh Raj Mainali said that the two were arrested while carrying a pistol and ammunition.

A sharp pistol, a bullet, a box and a metal punch were recovered from the arrested. Police said that further investigation is underway into the incident.
