Nepal’s foreign policy imbalanced and influenced by coalition’s interest: UML Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has lashed out at the Nepal government saying that its foreign policy is imbalanced and influenced by the vested interest of the coalition parties.

Passing comments on the policies and programs in the Parliament UML Chairman Oli said, “The government has made our foreign policy unbalanced, impulsive, and influenced by the interest of the coalition government.”

Accusing the government of failing in foreign policy, Oli accused the government of not even informing the main opposition party when the treaty was signed.

Stating that he had taken permission to go to his own country, he questioned that the foreign minister should not take permission.

“I went to a remote place in Humla with the permission of the administration even within my own country,” he said.
