UML wins in ward 13 and NC in 17 of KMC



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML panel has won in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13.

All the UML candidates including the ward chairperson have won in ward 13 of the metropolis.

Similarly, Navin Manandhar of Nepali Congress (NC) has been elected as ward chairperson in ward 17. Manandhar got 2,708 votes while his rival UML’s Macharaja Maharjan polled 1,431 votes.

The counting of votes in the Kathmandu metropolis has reached its final stage.

Independent candidate Balen Sah Balen and CPN-UML’s Sunita Dangol have already obtained enough votes to secure victory as mayor and deputy mayor in the metropolis.
