Three killed in Dhanusha bike-motorbike collision



JANAKPUR: Three people were killed after a motorcycle they were riding collided with a truck parked at Sindhuli Tole in Chhireshwor municipality-5 of the Dhanusha district on Monday night.

Critically injured, the trio died in the course of treatment at Janakpur-based provincial hospital, said District Police Office, Dhanusha.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.

An ill-fated motorbike, Na 2 Kha 8624, had collided with a truck, Lu 83 Pa 8651, parked on the roadside at 2:30 am today.

Area Police Office, Mahendranagar said the truck driver is at large following the accident. Police said they are searching for the absconding driver.
