WALING: The Andhikhola rural municipality of Syangja has unveiled its logo on Friday.
Chairperson of the rural municipality Sudhir Kumar Poudyal unveiled the logo which has been made depicting the areas of historical, religious, archeological and cultural importance within the municipality. The national flag of Nepal is placed between the name and address of the rural municipality with Paddy ears placed on both sides attached to a ribbon.
The green hills and trees along with the rising sun try to depict the natural beauty of the village. Chair Poudyal said. The first community homestay in South Asia, Sirubari and Shrav Kumar and Andha Andhi Daha or pond have also been included in the logo.
The rural municipality has stated that it has tried to reflect gender equality, unity, coordination and cooperation, as well as the agricultural sector.
Vice-chairperson of the rural municipality, Sharmila Poudyal, said that the logo has been created to reflect the identity of the rural municipality by including all the areas of the municipality symbolically.
