KATHMANDU: Light rain with thunder and lightning is likely in some parts of the hilly terrain with partial cloud cover in Province No. 1 and hilly terrain of Bagmati Pradesh due to the influence of western low pressure system today.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places in the hilly terrain of Bagmati Province. The weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country and in other provinces.
The night today will be partly cloudy in Province No. 1 and hilly areas of Bagmati Province.
According to the latest details of the Weather Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley today is 12.2 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 28.5 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the lowest temperature recorded is in Jumla at 4.0 degrees Celsius and the highest in Biratnagar at 35.07 degrees Celsius.
