Bus-hit claims motorcyclist in Bhaktapur

KATHMANDU: A person has died after being hit by a passenger bus in Bhaktapur.

The deceased has been identified as 36-year-old Ramesh Timalsina of Changunarayan municipality-8.

A bus, Ba 4 Kha 2001, heading to Sallaghari from Radhe Radhe hit a motorcycle, Pradesh 3-02-006 Pa 6114, coming from the same direction at Sirjananagar in Bhaktapur municipality-1.

Critically injured Timalsina died in the course of treatment at Sallaghari-based Iwamora Hospital on Friday night, said Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur.

Bus driver is at large. Police said they are searching for the absconding driver.
