More than 2.16 million Nepalis live abroad: CBS  Report

KATHMANDU: There are 2,169,478 Nepalis living abroad, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).

According to the preliminary data of the National Census 2021, the population of Nepalis living abroad is 2,169,478.

Similarly, the population of Nepal has reached 291.92 million now.

The CBS data show that there are more women than men in Nepal.

According to CBS, the population of males is 14.291 million and the population of females is 14.911 million.

The total number of families in Nepal is 67.61 million. The data shows the population growth rate of Nepal is 0.93 percent.
