Nepal’s President, PM and FM extend greetings on India’s 73rd Republic Day



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Narayan Khadka have sent separate messages of felicitations to Ram Nath Kovind, President, Narendra Modi, Prime Minister; and Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of India, respectively, on the occasion of the 73rd Republic Day of India.

In her message to the President of India, President Bhandari has extended best wishes for good health and happiness of the President of India as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of India. The President has also expressed congratulations and best wishes on the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, being celebrated in India as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsab.

Similarly, Prime Minister Deuba has also extended best wishes for good health and happiness of Prime Minister Modi and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of India.

 

The Prime Minister has commended India’s remarkable achievements in socio-economic development and impressive advancement in technologies and innovation. The Prime Minister has expressed his confidence that the relations would continue to grow stronger in the days to come.

Likewise, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Khadka has expressed warm felicitations and best wishes to the Minister of External Affairs Dr. Jaishankar and the people of India. He has also expressed his confidence that the warm and friendly ties between the two countries would be further strengthened in the days to come
