Elephant kills an elderly in Damak

KATHMANDU: An elderly man has died after being attacked by an elephant in Damak municipality-3 in Jhapa district.

The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Adhikari, 63, of Damak-3, Golatar.

The wild tusker had attacked the sexagenarian when he had gone to irrigate his corn filed, according to ward chairman Nabin Baral.
Adhikari died on the spot.
