Prachanda gets support of 166 MPs

KATHMANDU: Political party leaders, sans Nepali Congress and Unified Socialist, are going to Shital Niwas to recommend Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda as the Prime Minister.

UML leader Shankar Pokharel said Prachanda has the support of 166 Members of Parliament.

A meeting of CPN-UML, Maoist Center, Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janata Samajwadi Party, and Nagarik Unmukti Party agreed to make Prachanda the Prime Minister.

Pokharel said other issues will be discussed after the formation of the government.
