Balkot meeting: Parties recommend Prachanda as PM



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the political parties held today at Balkot, the residence of CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, agreed to make Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda the Prime Minister.

The leader, who participated in the meeting, said that information has been sent to the President’s Office about making Prachanda the Prime Minister.

UML leader Bishnu Rimal said that the consensus has been reached to make Prachanda the Prime Minister.

Likewise, the meeting also decided that the President and Speaker of the House of Representatives will be given to UML.

A meeting of top leaders of CPN-UML, Maoist Center, Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janata Samajbadi Party, and Janamat Party was held in Balkot today.
