I will present our bottom line to Deuba for the last time: Prachanda



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, who is claiming for the post of prime minister in the first phase, has said that he is going to hold final discussions on the formation of the government with another contender, Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

According to Maoist Center Secretary Devendra Paudel, Chairman Prachanda said that the he will hold a final talk with PM Deuba today.

“Before going to Baluwatar at 10 am on Sunday, in a discussion with party officials, the Chairman said that the final decision would be on whether to give the prime minister in the first phase,” leader Paudel said, adding,  “We cannot leave both the President and Prime Minister to NC. Maoist Center should get the post of Prime Minister in the first phase. Prachanda has gone to have the last word with PM Deuba on this matter.”

PM Deuba, Prachanda and CPN-Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal are holding discussion in Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar now.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has given time till 5 pm on Sunday for the formation of the government according to Article 76 (2) of the Constitution.
