UML’s Chabilal Bishwakarma elected from Rupandehi-1



BUTWAL: Chabilal Bishwakarma of CPN-UML has been elected from Rupandehi-1.

He defeated Ghanshyam Bhusal by a margin of 3,564 votes.

Bishwakarma garnered 24,872 votes and Bhusal got 21,308 votes.

Bhusal had contested the election as an independent candidate after he did not get a ticket from his party – the CPN- UML.

He left the party, and contested as an independent candidate by taking the support of the five-party ruling coalition.
