UML’s Gaire elected HoR member from Palpa-2



PALPA: Thakur Prasad Gaire of the CPN (UML) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Palpa constituency-2.

He obtained 27,817 votes.

Gaire’s closest rival Som Prasad Pandey of the CPN (Unified Socialist), a common candidate from the left-democratic alliance, received 23,851 votes, according to Chief of the District Election Office, Palpa, Rukmangat Aryal.

Similarly, Som Prasad Gaire of Rastriya Swatantra Party got 5,180 votes.
