KATHMANDU: Leader of CPN-UML and former minister Gokul Baskota has been elected from Kavre Constituency-2.

Baskota garnered 45,345 votes while Nepali Congress candidate, Shiva Prasad Humagain, got 39,582 votes.

Dinesh Humagai of Rastriya Swatantra Party garnered 10,586 votes.
