NC’s Dr. Shekhar Koirala elected from Morang-6



MORANG: Nepali Congress (NC) influential leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has been elected from Morang Constituency-6.

Koirala has been elected to the House of Representatives by defeating Lalbabu Pandit of CPN-UML.

Dr. Koirala garnered 35,218 votes while UML’s Pandit got 22,932 votes.

Similarly, Yadav Kumar Pradhan of Rastriya Swatantra Party garnered 9,571 votes and Gopal Chhetri of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) got 8,829 votes.

Lal Babu was elected from this constituency in the 2074 BS election.
