DHANUSHA: CPN-UML’s Julie Mahato has been elected a member of the House of Representatives from Dhanusha-3.

She defeated Anil Kumar Jha of the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party by a margin of 9,669 votes.

Julie got a total of 33,355 votes while Anil Jha got 23,686 votes.

Julie, who has been elected twice by proportional representation, has been elected for the first time.
