KATHMANDU: The number of deaths due to Coronavirus infection in Nepal is close to 12 thousand.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 11,995 people have lost their lives due to Covid in Nepal so far.

Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases is also increasing in the last few days in the country.

According to the ministry, Covid infection has been confirmed in 996 thousand 231 people in Nepal so far.

Of the infected, 979,938 people have recovered.
