Unified Socialist observing party establishment day today



KATHMANDU: Unified Socialist party is observing party re-organization day on Thursday.

The party received the party registration certificate and was registered at the Election Commission (EC) on this day.

Last year, the party split from CPN-UML under the leadership of Madhav Kumar Nepal.

The EC gave away the certificate to the party on Bhadra 9 last year.

Party spokesperson Jaganath Khatiwada said that the party has distributed 500,000 memberships so far.

He also informed that more than 2 lakh members have joined various committees of the party.
