DOHA: Ninety-nine Nepalis living illegally in Saudi Arabia have been issued exit visas.
According to the Nepali Embassy in Riyadh, 99 of those processed from Riyadh and Dammam between June 17 and 23 received exit visas.
According to the Embassy, Nepalis working in various companies and establishments in Saudi Arabia who did not have a Saudi residence permit were not renewed or were issued a visa were requested to return home.
Those on the list published by the Embassy will need to obtain an exit visa from the Embassy.
The Embassy has asked people to leave Saudi Arabia within 60 days of getting an exit visa.
Even though the exit visa process will be free, the Embassy has stated that the return air ticket to Nepal should be arranged by the individual.
