18 students among 21 killed at Texas school shooting



WASHINGTON: Eighteen students and at least one adult have been killed in a school shooting in Texas.

The deadly attack happened on Tuesday afternoon at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, around 80 miles west of San Antonio, CNN reported.

The suspect has been identified as an 18-year-old male called Salvador Ramos, Texas Governor Greg Abbott says.

According to law enforcement sources, he had a handgun and an AR-15 rifle.

The suspect is dead and was believed to be killed by police officials.

The pupils were second, third, and fourth graders aged between 7 and 10, according to the report.
