BHAKTAPUR: Nepali Congress has decided to field leader Nishan Dhungel as the candidate for the post mayor in Suryabinayak municipality of Bhaktapur for the upcoming local level elections.
Dhungel is the incumbent President of NC Suryabinayak Municipal Working Committee.
Similarly, Surendra Shrestha has been chosen as the candidate unopposed for the post of mayor in Madhyapurthimi municipality.
Likewise, the NC has decided to field Jeevan Khatri as the mayoral candidate in Changunarayan municipality.
All the leaders are filing nominations today. The local election is being held on May 13.
