UML registers party at EC for upcoming local-level election purpose



KATHMANDU: The CPN (UML) has registered the party at the Election Commission for the purpose of upcoming local-level polls.

A team led by UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel reached the EC today and registered the party for local-level election purpose.

The UML registered the party as per the Article 271 of the Constitution and clause 48 of the Political Parties related Act-2073 BS.

Saying the CPN (UML) has already involved in election preparation, General Secretary Pokhrel urged other political parties to involve in election process.

His party has now been launching election centered orientation programme across the nation for the preparation of local-level polls, he shared.
