Nepal-India border to remain closed for 3 days



KATHMANDU: The Nepal-India Jamunaha border point in Nepalgunj is being closed for 60 hours from this evening.

Superintendent of Police (SP) in Banke, Shyam Krishna Adhikari, said the border point is being fully closed in view of the state assembly polls in the Indian districts of Uttar Pradesh.

According to SP Adhikari, the border point would remain closed until 6:00 am on Monday from 6:00 pm this evening. During the time, trans-border human mobility and vehicular movement would be completely stopped.
