No new coronavirus cases recorded in past 24 hours, active cases 12

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded no new case of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 761 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the cases tested, 268 were tested through the RT-PCR method and 493 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 12 active cases in the country as two infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
