NC comes winner in Sidhuli-1

SINDHULI: Nepali Congress candidate for the House of Representatives (HoR) election from the Sindhuli electoral constituency-1 has emerged victorious.

Ghimire beat his nearest competitor Pradeep Kumar Katuwal of the CPN-UML by 4,845 votes to win the election.

When Ghimire secured 30,391, Katuwal’s final counts tally was 25,546, according to Chief Election Officer Upendra Prasad Gautam.

It may be noted that they both were the competitors for the 2017 Province Assembly elections from the Sindhuli-1(2) and Katuwal had won the election.
