Maoist Center’s Pasang defeats UML’s Bishal Bhattarai in Khotang



KHOTANG: CPN-Maoist Center leader and the candidate for the House of Representatives from Khotang, Ram Kumar Rai ‘Pasang’ has been elected in the general election held on Sunday.

Rai got elected after defeating the nearest rival CPN-UML candidate Bishal Bhattarai by a margin of 2,669 votes.

While Pasang got 31,351 votes, Bhattarai got 28,682 votes.

UML’s Bhattarai was elected from here in 2074 BS.
