RPP’s Deepak Singh wins in Makwanpur-1

HETAUDA: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate for the House of Representatives member from Makawanpur-1, Deepak Bahadur Singh has won the election.

Singh defeated Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Mahalakshmi Upadhyaya ‘Dina’ and Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal candidate Kamal Thapa. Singh defeated Dina by a margin of 2,382 votes.

RPP’s Singh got 27,816 votes while Dina got 25,434 votes.

Similarly, RPP Nepal Chairman Thapa who fought under CPN-UML’s election symbol, received 25,420 votes.
