Dr. Shashank clinches fourth win in a row



KATHMANDU: Former General Secretary of Nepali Congress (NC) Dr. Shashank Koirala won his fourth victory from East Nawalparasi.

Dr. Koirala, who won the Constituent Assembly elections of 2064 BS and 2070 BS and the House of Representatives elections of 2074 BS, won this time as well.

He won from Nawalparasi East-1 by defeating Krishna Paudel of CPN-UML by a margin of 5,000 votes. While Koirala got 27,127 votes, UML’s Paudel got 23,301 votes.
