Baitadi Police launches awareness program at school



BAITADI: The Baitadi Police has launched an awareness program focusing school children in the district.

Baitadi Police under the Community Police Partnership Program launched different awareness programs reaching the schools.

As many as 74 awareness programs have already been organized at various different schools, said Baitadi Police Chief, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Prem Bahadur Shahi.

Police teams from all police posts in the district have been launching awareness class at schools under program. The awareness program is aimed at reducing different types of anomalies taking place in society.

Different issues—misuse of social media sites and legal provisions, prevention of drug abuse, gender-based violence, suicide, child marriage, and social crime s are discussed under the program.

Shahi shared, “It is believed that interactions held among students will help reduce anomalies and violence taking place in the society.”
The awareness program launched two months ago has been continued.
