President Bhandari holding discussions with former army generals



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has started discussions on various issues with the retired generals of the Nepali Army.

On Wednesday afternoon, she discussed with senior officials of the retired army at the President’s Office, Shital Niwas.

The President’s office has started discussions with the retired army generals from 3:30 pm.

According to sources, Bhandari will continue the discussion on the current political situation, and other issues until 6:30 pm.

The President’s Office has invited more than a hundred former journalists.

After sending the Citizenship Bill back to the House of Representatives, President Bhandari has been dragged into a controversy.

The ruling coalition has already decided to send the Citizenship Bill to the President for re-authentification.
