Nepal sees 347 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 347 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Sunday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 303 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 44 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,888 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 2,360 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,528 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 3,177 active cases in the country as 95 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Two COVID-19 related death were recorded in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country remains constant at 11,956 to date.
