Govt serious towards addressing entrepreneurs’ problems: Minister Khand



BHAIRAHAWA: Minister for Home Affairs Bal Krishna Khand asserted that the incumbent government was serious about addressing the problems of Nepal’s entrepreneurs and business persons.

Inaugurating the FNCCI Lumbini Province’s 4th Province Assembly convention in Bhairahawa today, Minister Khand pledged to provide all sorts of services and support round-the-clock to the industrialists as well as to promote the industries in the country.

According to him, the government will facilitate and enable the environment to operate hotels and restaurants round the clock in towns like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Jhapa, Chitwan and Bhairahawa among other tourists’ spots.

He shared that the government had accorded higher priority to Siddhababa Tunnel Way and expansion of road in Daunne.

Similarly, FNCCI President Shekhar Golchha viewed that of excise duty was being misused and opined that the government should not levy such duty in raw materials.

Likewise, FNCCI Lumbini Province President Krishna Prasad Sharma shared that electricity related issues was the grave issue in the Lumbini Province and urged the government to help resolve this issue.

According to him, the risk prevailing Butwal Palpa road section had also incurred loss to the business. (RSS)
